Furia entered into Wichita County Sheriff’s Department as a tracking dog in 2015. In December 2021, they discovered that Furia had osteochondritis with arthritis among other issues in both of her shoulders. She had her surgery on May 5, 2022, and is happy to be retired at home with her handler. Project Always Beside You was able to cover $3,300 in medical expenses.
