Boss is an eight-year-old Air Force working dog from Luke Air Force Base in Arizona. Boss had a cancerous mass in his abdomen that ruptured in January 2021. What is special about Boss is that the cancerous mass that was removed from his tail was sent to a research facility to help possibly create a vaccine to decrease the growth of cancer. Project Always Beside You was honored to assist his handler with paying the entire surgery bill in amount of $2370.
